Mum completely transforms her dingy hall flooring using £14 stick-on tiles from Dunelm

A WOMAN has revealed how she completely transformed her dingy hallway floor with pretty stick-on tiles.

The savvy homeowner showed before and after photos of the floor, and how it had gone from brown and dull to looking chic with blue, patterned tiles.

She shared on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK: “Dunelm stick on tiles online only.”

The best part of the DIY home transformation is that the tiles cost just £14 for 10, which is perfect for those on a budget.

She advised that the tiles can go over laminate floor and tiles, and the floor just has to be clean, dry and flat.

After sharing the images of her modern hallway, social media users were quick to praise her efforts and say how beautiful it looked.

One said: “Fab. So much more welcoming and uplifting feel to your entrance!”

And another added: “Wow what a difference looks lovely and airy.”

The Dunelm website said of the 305mm x 305mm tiles: “Bring the illusion of real tiles without the hassle to your home with these peel and stick floor tiles.

“Decorated with a beautiful floral style pattern in watercolour effect blues, these floor tiles require no grout or special tools like real floor tiles.

“Instead they feature an easy to apply, peel and stick back to provide the illusion of real tiles without the hassle.

“Perfect for your kitchen or bathroom, these tiles are complete with a water resistant finish for easy cleaning and are made from a virgin vinyl material with permanent adhesive for added durability.”It looks like the perfect lockdown DIY project to us…
