Mustard leaf serum that costs £12.95 clears student’s painful acne in three weeks

AFTER years of suffering from painful cystic acne, an Italian student has found the cure in an over-the-counter serum that won't bust the bank.

The 'miracle' acne treatment will set you back little over a tenner – and student Elettra Gugole reckons it's life changing.

Since developing acne as a teen, Elettra was left feeling self-conscious and shying away from social situations to avoid people 'staring' at her skin.

The 22-year-old student's skin condition then worsened when she stopped using the contraceptive pill two years ago.

Speaking of her university experience, she said she "spent the whole time feeling deeply insecure."

And at her worse she says she "felt ashamed of how I looked."

She said: "I developed horrific painful cystic lumps under my skin and I became scared about what was happening to my face."

And after multiple trips to various dermatologists as well as an array of invasive skin treatments  – including acid peels, laser therapy and heavily medicated products – Elettra's skin was only made worse.

Desperate for her painful condition to clear, the Verona student continued in her quest for the ultimate cure.

And it was – quite surprisingly – found in an over-the-counter serum by the recommendation of an Instagram user.

The product by Clarol called Sebopure costs just £12.95 and is made from mustard leaf oil.

The UK skincare brand claims to prevent acne by ensuring that the production of sebum is kept pure.

By doing so this minimises inflammation of the skin as well as preventing pores from blocking.

Sebopure contains natural ingredient Pixalia™ which is derived from the wild mustard (or Cleome Gynandra) plant.

The aim is that it works in conjunction with the skin's natural sebum production, resulting in purified sebum and clearer skin.

Clearly thrilled with the results, Elettra waxed lyrical about the product which started to clear her skin after just three weeks, saying:

"I haven't had a break-out in almost three months and my skin feels healthier than it has in years.

"On a scale of 1-10, I would say currently my skin is at 8, and before I started using Sebopure it was at 1. For me this is an incredible improvement in such a short time."

You can buy the product for £12.95 (50l) from www.clarol.co.uk.
