My neighbour’s fuming because I walk around in a bra and shorts, he says he can see everything & I’m an ‘exhibitionist’

A WOMAN has been labelled an "exhibitionist" by her neighbour for walking round her house in just a sports bra and shorts.

The 25 year old took to Reddit's Am I The Asshole? forum to explain the situation, questioning whether or not she was in the wrong.

"I like to work out in the morning, I have a little home gym set up in the garage where I like to start my mornings," she wrote.

"By the time I'm done I've typically worked up quite the sweat and so I'll throw my shirt into the laundry while on my way to the bathroom to take a shower.

"However this past weekend I've instead just thrown my shirt into the laundry, towel off and then gone to the kitchen to make myself a brunch/lunch before I shower.

"I'm still in my sports bra and I still have my shorts/pants on while doing this and I personally don't see anything wrong with it."

Her kitchen window faces her neighbour's back yard, and she was stunned when the man, in his late 50s, accused her of being "incredibly inappropriate lately towards his family".

"I had no idea what he was talking about as I hardly ever talk to him or his family and then he brought up the fact that for the past two days I've been in my bra by the kitchen window," she continued.

"He ended up calling me an exhibitionist and that this wasn't something that he or his family wants to see."

Concluding her post, the woman said she told him "I'll keep what he said in mind but that I'll wear whatever I want while I'm in my house and it's not like I'm walking around naked by the window".

People quickly rushed to comment on the post, with the majority insisting she wasn't in the wrong at all in the situation.

"Tell him he's making you uncomfortable by being a pervert and peeking in your windows," one person wrote. "Bonus points if you do it in front of his wife!"

"You're in a sports bra. You're not topless," someone else added.

"And don't forget to mention that if he doesn't stop peeking in your windows, you might have to call the police on a Peeping Tom."

"It's your house," a third person agreed.

"If he bothers you again, go to the police and say he's harassing you AND while you're in your own house/on your property."

Another comment read: "Your body, your choice. His behaviour is A grade harassment, the times when men told women what to wear are over.

"Don't talk to him about the issue (never react, he will take this as a confirmation of his behaviour), just report him to the coppers straight away should he come up with this s**t again."

Speaking of neighbours, this man was furious after spotting a camera overlooking his parents' garden – but who's in the wrong?

I caught my neighbour stealing my delivery on CCTV – she even wore my clothes in the gym but refuses to admit it.

This person wants to move due to their neighbours' "nightmare" extension.
