People are only just realising salt grinders have hidden setting that makes cooking easier… but it's divided opinions | The Sun

A HIDDEN setting on household salt shakers has left Brits baffled – and wondering why they never thought of it sooner.

But not everyone is impressed – with some claiming "thought everyone knew this".

Taking to TikTok to share his discovery, product reviewer @rightguysreview said he "cant believe" he never knew the food hack.

By simply clicking the end of the shaker in and out, people can quickly change the size of their salt flakes.

Despite many thinking the salt grinder only has one setting, all you need to do is pop down the top to change it from big to small – and vice versa.

The straightforward design left the TikTok guru to question how he was "only finding this out today".
