Who is Sophie Broadley and how old is she?

THE RADFORDS are Britain’s biggest family, but eldest daughter Sophie certainly knows how to stand out from the pack.

The glamorous social media star has racked up over 30,000 followers thanks to her stylish shots and her sweet life with her own little family.

Sue and Noel Radford, from Lancashire, are parents to Chris, 31, Sophie, 27, Chloe, 25, Jack, 23, Daniel, 21, Luke, 20, Millie, 19, Katie, 18, James, 17, Ellie, 15, Aimee, 14, Josh, 13, Max, 12, Tillie, 10, Oscar, nine, Casper, eight, Hallie, five, Phoebe, four, Archie, three, Bonnie, two, and Heidie who was born in April.

Sadly the couple's 17th child Alfie was still born on July 6, 2014.

But what do we know about second child Sophie?

Who is Sophie Broadley?

While the majority of the Radford brood have been living under one roof in lockdown, Sophie has actually had a comparatively quiet time.

She moved out of the family’s 10-bedroom former care home a few years ago, and lives with her own family.

Sophie was the first of the Radford brood to get married in 2015, and now takes husband Joe Broadley’s surname.

Her older brother Chris is also married to partner Nicole Spencer, and they have two kids together, Maisie and Jacob.

Who is her husband Joe Broadley?

Sophie tied the knot with electrical wholesaler Joe in 2015, after he popped the question in November 2014 by surprising her with a bouquet of flowers.

It contained a diamond ring tucked inside a rose and a note reading: “Will you marry me?”

Sophie was ecstatic and got into the swing of wedding planning, only to discover she was pregnant in May of the following year with her third child.

Luckily she had chosen a flowing dress that didn’t need to be taken out at the waist.

She sparkled in the ivory gown at Belsfield Hotel in Windermere, Cumbria.

Sophie said: “I never expected to be walking down the aisle pregnant. But everything was absolutely perfect. It went just how we wanted.

“I burst into tears before walking down the aisle and Joe choked up during the vows. Other than that it was all smiles.”

Who are their kids?

Sophie and Joe have three children together, Daisy, eight, who was born in 2012, Ayprill, six, who arrived in 2014 and Leo, five, who Sophie was carrying at her 2015 wedding.

This means Sue and Noel have six grandchildren, after daughter Millie gave birth to Ophelia in September 2020.

Sophie said about learning she was pregnant with Leo: “It was a surprise and a massive shock. I was on the contraceptive injection.

“We were quite upset at first but we’re over the moon now.

“He will definitely be our last. Our house will be full up.

“Although I can’t say the same for Mum and Dad, you never know with them.”

Speaking of being part of Britain’s biggest family herself, Sophie said: “Growing up in a big family was amazing. You’re never lonely, there is always someone there for you.

“The main reason I don’t want a big family for myself is I want to get out and work full-time. I’m not one for staying at home all day.”

What has she said about her business?

Like her hardworking parents, Sophie doesn’t rely on benefits for raising her three kids, and runs her own business.

Sophie has her own business, which sells make-up, skincare and cleaning products, along with fragrances for “him and for her”.

According to her Instagram, these are sold at a “reasonable price.”

It was previously reported she had been working for the brand Federico Mahora selling affordable fragrances.

The Federico Mahora scents have even attracted some celeb fans.

Stacey Solomon has been spotted hoarding the Federico Mahora bottle in her bathroom.
