This is the adorable moment a toddler enthusiastically handed King Charles a bouquet of flowers during his visit to the University of East London.
His Majesty, 74, made a solo trip to the institution to mark its 125th anniversary and open a new frontline medical teaching hub, which will train future generations of NHS professionals and work towards tackling health inequalities across the UK.
Upon his arrival, the monarch was given a selection of fresh flowers by a four-year-old from the university’s nursery.
Footage of the scene showed the toddler stepping forward and reaching towards the King with the bouquet as Charles chatted to a person next to the little one.
The eager display from the toddler caused the room to break out into laughter – including the monarch, who is seen sharing a giggle with the child.

Elsewhere, Charles brushed off a member of the public’s comments about Prince Harry with a chuckle as he arrived at the university today.
The monarch was met with cheers as he stepped out of his black Rolls Royce at the venue this afternoon.
As the royal greeted members of the institution who were standing outside the building, a student in the crowd was heard yelling: ‘Please bring back Harry!’
At first, the monarch did not hear what the member of the public said and asked a member of his team for clarification.
An aide told him: ‘Harry, your son.’
Appearing unbothered by the mention of the Duke of Sussex – who unleashed fresh bombshells on the Royal Family with his memoir Spare last month – King chuckled and said: ‘Oh.’
Earlier today, Charles and Camilla chatted to well-wishers and even received a takeaway from a South Asian restaurant during a visit to Brick Lane, in East London.
The couple met with the movers and shakers of the London Bangladeshi community, visiting charities and businesses.
