Candle that ‘smells like Harry Styles’ sells out in the US – but here’s where you can buy the luxe version

Ever wondered what Harry Styles smells like? No, us neither before now, but we assumed it might be a mixture of crisp new Gucci suits, tattoo ink and Brylcreem.

Fortunately we now have a clearer idea, after a $6.99 candle from US superstore Target went viral on TikTok, promptly selling out in stores and online – all because fans claim it smells exactly like the former One Directioner.

The store’s Threshold Cashmere Vanilla candles have acquired rave reviews from those obsessed with the floppy-haired hitmaker.

"Should be renamed "Harry Styles candle". 10/10 recommend to anyone in love with Harry Styles," says one review.

“The only reason i bought it is because it smells like Harry but it’s actually such a nice candle!” reads another.

The candles are reportedly a perfect dupe for the fragrance Harry wears, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille eau de parfum.

This heady blend of tonka bean, vanilla and cocoa was revealed as the singer’s scent of choice back in 2017 after hairdresser Lou Teasdale posted a snap of his dressing table featuring the luxury fragrance. Inspired by London, it describes itself as “reminiscent of an English gentlemen’s club” and “all man”.

But Hazza devotees can actually get their hands on something that smells even MORE like the man himself (albeit at a higher price), as Tom Ford also sells the Tobacco Vanille scent in a candle too, available here for £66.

We know that the Watermelon Sugar singer is a fan of scented candles, often taking them with him on tour, so we’re sure he has a few of these dotted around his home too.

It looks like we’ll still be spending plenty of time at home, and who wouldn’t want that home to smell like a 26-year-old, quiff-sporting, blouse-wearing pop star?

But move quick, as we reckon this will sell out quicker than you can say “One Direction reunion”…
