James Kennedy can’t help but wonder about the “perfect” timing of Lala Kent and Randall Emmett’s breakup.

While discussing the split on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” on Tuesday, the “Vanderpump Rules” star said his loyalty remains with Kent but pointed out the drama aligns with her book signing for “Give Them Lala” Wednesday night.

“It’s perfect timing, isn’t it? Tonight’s more about me and [my fiancée] Raquel and all we are talking about so far is Lala,” Kennedy noted.

“I’m just, like, it’s perfect. She’s got a book signing tomorrow in L.A., right?”

Kennedy, 29, didn’t provide any further insight into Kent and Emmett’s relationship status but made his allegiances clear.

“Well, look, Randall and I have come a long way and obviously my loyalty stands with Lala, no matter what,” Kennedy shared, “but, honestly I don’t know much. I just wish them the best. I don’t really like to dip deep into their business. You know what I mean?”

The former couple’s breakup already is putting Kennedy in a tough position, as they have a pickleball tournament coming up in which Kent was supposed to participate with Emmett.

“Well, her participation is canceled, but now what do I do? Do I go play pickleball with Randall?” Kennedy asked. “I’ve got myself in a pickle here.”

Page Six broke the news on Monday that Kent, 31, ended her engagement to the producer, 50, after three years once she allegedly caught him cheating on her in Nashville.

She’s since been spotted without her engagement ring.
