This is the same place that Sarah Ferguson gave birth to her and Prince Andrew’s daughters, Princess Eugenie, now 29, and Princess Beatrice, now 30.
What is known about the Portland Hospital?
The website states that it’s the “only private hospital in the UK dedicated to the healthcare of women and children”.
It has a team of more than 600 leading consultants and clinical nurses.
The most recent Care Quality Commission report saw it being names as “Good”.
As it’s a private hospital, the website also states the fees it charges for those who are pregnant to access its services.
The packages vary, and the prices differ depending on whether the care is consultant-lead or midwife-lead.
Mothers-to-be may choose the former choice, or they may end up having it if they do not meet the criteria for midwife-lead care.
Midwife-lead care costs between £9,100 and £8,000 – depending on when the mother-to-be begins accepting the service.
Consultant-lead care varies between £6,100 and £7,950 – and the cost of this depends on the type of delivery.
There may also be additional charges for patients to pay.
The hospital website also provides the new mother with 24-hour room service, as well as Afternoon Tea – which is served daily throughout one’s stay.
Parents also get a complimentary photography session and prints, as well as a gift on discharge.
Two days after the birth, Meghan and Prince Harry introduced Archie to the world for the first time.
The couple posed for photographs at Windsor Castle, before going on to take the royal baby to meet Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
The pair later took to Instagram to announce the name of the youngster: Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor.
