Mosque killer Darren Osborne ‘has boiling water thrown in face in prison attack’

Finsbury Park van terrorist Darren Osbourne had hot water thrown in his face in a suspected revenge attack in prison, it has been claimed.

Osborne is serving a life sentence at Wakefield Prison for the murder of one man and injury of 12 others after he drove a van into a crowd near Finsbury Park Mosque in London in June 2017,

A source told the Sun that Osborne was in his cell when an attacker ran in and threw the boiling water over his head, face and body, leaving him in agony.

He is claimed to have activated a security buzzer at the high security prison and was treated in the jail's health care unit.

The Prison Service confirmed that a prisoner suffered minor injuries after having hot water thrown in his face on September 18.
