M&S releases Daddy of All Steaks in time for Father’s Day
Supermarkets are celebrating Father’s Day by launching deals on meat.
Morrisons began flogging a supersized mixed grill, while Aldi released a steak that can feed a family of four.
And now, M&S has jumped on the bandwagon with its Daddy of All Steaks offer.
Here’s everything you need to know about the promotion.
Marks and Spencer is selling Tomahawk Steak for £15.
The premium ribeye, described as the Daddy of All Steaks, has been matured for a minimum of 21 days.
It’s also a whopping 800g in size, making it the perfect centrepiece for Father’s Day celebrations.
The supermarket recommends cooking the premium cut of meat on the BBQ, before sharing it among guests.
M&S Product Developer Sarah Loxton said: “This Father’s Day we wanted to ensure customers had the ultimate show-stopping centrepiece to show Dad just how much you care.
“Costing just £15 for this giant cut of the highest-quality steak it is outstanding value and something all the family can enjoy.”
If the M&S steak is a little out of your price range, head to Aldi.
The store is selling 566g Bigger Daddy rump steaks for £7.99.
Just like Marks and Spencer’s cut of meat, this one has been matured for 21 days.
The supersize food item will hit stores on June 13 – but it’ll only be available for limited time.
An Aldi spokesperson said: “Expected to be in hot demand across the country, this – is a Specialbuy, so hurry – once it’s gone, it’s gone!”
