However, a recent report claimed seasoned pro Anton, who has worked in every one of the 17 seasons of Strictly,  earns more. According to Heart Radio, Anton has beefed up his Strictly salary to closer to £50,000, which contributes to his net worth.

Anton has also reportedly increased his annual takings this year with an extra £65,000 coming from his own professional tour with Erin Boag.

So, what is Anton Du Beke’s net worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, his salary from Strictly, as well as Anton’s other ventures in TV, singing and writing, has earned the dancer quite a tidy sum.

While this is certainly nothing to scoff at, there have been issues in the past with some of the pro dancers feeling disgruntled at their pay packet in comparison to Strictly’s judges.

The dancers work up to 14 hours a day training their celebrity partners and are responsible for choreographing the weekly group dances.

However, it was reported that judges can earn as much as £250,000 for appearing on the season.

The dancers were furious in 2012 when they got a £500 wage rise and the judges received a £20,000 pay boost.

Brendan Cole – who reportedly earns around £35,000 – told Now magazine: “My money from Strictly just about pays the bills. I don’t have a car.

“I would like to get one but until then I’m on the Tube. I don’t even own my house. I can’t afford it. I rent where I live.”

However, judge Bruno Tonioli is not sympathetic to the dancers.

He told The Mirror: “Those are the terms of the negotiations. If you don’t like it, stop moaning and f**k off!”

According to previous reports, the celebrity stars of the show are given a standard £25,000 payment package for signing up for the dance competition, but if they manage to stay on the glittering dance floor until the end of October this then rises to £40,000.

Whilst any stars that make it to the quarter finals of the dance completion sees their fee jump to a whopping £60,000; that figure then climbs to £75,000 if they last an extra week and get into the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, the Strictly winner will be paid £100,000 for participating and winning the Strictly Come Dancing glitter ball trophy, but it is unknown if the professional dancers get an extra something for their hard work.
