Woman shares anti-aging tip by taping her face – but viewers arent convinced

A woman left people baffled when she put tapes on her face claiming it "reverses her age in seconds".

Chloe, from the US, showed her ant-aging tip on TikTok and said the trick gave her an instant face lift effect.

The tape — which has two stickers attached to an elastic band — can enhance the firmness of the skin.

She called it the way to "look like you had plastic surgery without the surgery".

In one video, Chloe shows her fans how she applies the tapes on her makeup-free face.

The 28-year-old takes the tape out and says: "I'm doing it again because it's the only video I can do that gets views and the others don't.

"So here we go again, oh my God."

Then she cuts the video to show her massaging her cheeks and pressing on the nasal-labial fold.

When she removes her hand, the lines disappear and her face looks snatched and firm.

But many viewers were convinced that Chloe was using an "old age filter" to show the dramatic result.

One pointed out the change, saying:: "You know she removes the old filter after the tape is in right? Her hair colour literally changed."

"And the skin texture changed all of a sudden," a second commented.

A third said: "Girl you are gorgeous and I love you, but I see the filter."

Chloe has since responded to people calling it a "scam".

She decided to show them a step-by-step video and explained: "I literally get people so f***ing angry saying face tape is a scam and I'm the worst.

"The reason why I can't show you half my face of face tape is because it's literally using the momentum of both sides to pull it back.

"But I can show you with my hands.

"This location here [above ear] – make sure you rub it in good – will correct your nasal-labial fold lines or smile lines or whatever you would like to call them."

She said the tapes can also be applied on the forehead to life eyebrows, as well as along the jawline to hide the "chin fat".

"It's literally pulling your skin back. How could that be a scam, you know?" Chloe added.

"Some people say the tape is not sticking, that can either be a factory error and you got a bad batch or you are not placing the strings properly.

"You see if my hair were down, you would not be able to see the tapes, so a lot of people say in my videos 'I can't see your face tape'y.

"That's the point, you're not supposed to see it!"
