Innovator: Founder Frances Tang explains on the company’s website that the sponge was born from her own frustrations with her lengthy ‘post-sex cleanup ritual’

‘No more perpetually gooey feeling, dripping, or ruined sheets!’ the product description reads.

Frances Tang, founder and CEO of come&gone, explains on the company’s website that the sponge was born from her own frustrations with her lengthy ‘post-sex cleanup ritual.’

‘I was so tired of tactically rolling off the bed, sprinting to the bathroom, hovering over the toilet, and using gobs of toilet paper in an attempt to clean myself up after sex,’ she writes.

After doing some research and talking to other women who had similar frustrations, Tang was determined to come up with a solution herself.

‘The more I spoke with other women about my problem, the product, and how ridiculous I thought it was that there was no hack for this, I realized I wasn’t alone,’ she says. ‘Many women just felt too awkward and embarrassed to talk about it!’

The come&gone sponges cost $10 for a pack of 10, and while some people may scoff at its existence, reviewers can’t stop gushing about it.

Only six women have written reviews so far, but they have all given the product five out of five stars.

‘The Come & Gone is amazing! I remember always thinking post-sex clean up is so unsexy… as I’m rocking there… legs in the air trying to cup in the goo while my bf runs to the bathroom to get tissues and me screaming “hurry! it’s overflowing!” and even then, it never does the job! I just never thought there’d be a solution to this problem. But the Come & Gone is it!’ a reviewer named Emily writes. ‘

My husband now hands me the sponge as soon as we’re done and I’m good to go! No more dripping as I make my way to the bathroom to wipe only to realize that I’m still leaking out,’ another review reads.

‘I remember having a morning quickie with the hubs then going to walk my dog and having a major leak that soaked my underwear. I thought, there has to be a better way! There is, it’s called Come & Gone. Genius product!’

A woman named Adrienne also called the sponge a ‘game changer,’

‘It has made the cleanup after sexy time so much easier and faster, especially for those morning quickies where I’m going to work right after,’ she explained. ‘After the first time I used it, I literally thought what a genius idea. It’s a quick and simple application and removal, completely mess-free.’
