CELTIC are preparing for life without left-back Kieran Tierney after confirming the signing of Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo from Rapid Vienna.

The Hoops announced the defender's arrival late on Wednesday as he penned a four-year deal.

And that means Tierney will be free to join Arsenal who have reportedly made a fresh bid for his signature.

It is claimed that the Gunners have made a £25million offer which will be made in instalments because of their strict transfer budget.

An initial £10m will be paid in the first year and then £10m in the second season.

ARSENAL chiefs will hold showdown talks with billionaire owner Stan Kroenke in a desperate plea to increase the transfer budget this summer, according to reports.

Boss Unai Emery was handed just £40million to improve his squad after failing to qualify for the Champions League.

He wants three new signings including Wilfried Zaha with Crystal Palace demanding around £80m for his signature.

Kieran Tierney is another option with Celtic slapping a £25m price-tag on the left-back's head.

And Emery also wants to sign a central defender in his quest to get his squad back into the top four.

The Spanish manager has been told that he can raise funds by selling players but they are struggling to flog the likes of Mesut Ozil who is pocketing around £300,000-a-week.
