MAURIZIO SARRI has sensationally threatened to quit Chelsea if his work this season is not properly appreciated.
In his pre-Europa League final press conference, he reacted with disbelief to being asked whether his future hinged on winning the tournament.
Sarri said: “If the situation is like this, I want to go immediately.
“You cannot … 10 months of work, and then I have to play everything in 90 minutes?
“It’s not right. It’s not the right way. You’re either happy about my work or you’re not happy.
“My future is Wednesday, I think.
“I need to think only about the final at this moment.
“I have two years of contract here, so I have no contact with other clubs at the moment.
“I have to speak with my club first of all after the final.
“I want to know if they are happy with me or not. That is it.
“I have two more years of contract.
“As I’ve said before, I’m very happy to stay in the Premier League, the most important championship in the world at the moment.”

BRIGHTON are looking to sign Chelsea wonder kid Reece James on loan.
The right-back has just returned from a spell at Wigan in the Championship.
James was named Players' Player and Fans' Player of the Year there.
He also scooped the club's Goal of the Season award.
And James' achievements were recognised with a place in the Championship Team of the Year.
Chelsea are understood to be making plans for James in their first-team squad next season.
But Brighton reckon they can convince Maurizio Sarri to let the ace develop elsewhere for at least one more term.
