  • RON-OLD-O

Bayern Munich have ruled out the possibility of a sensational move for Cristiano Ronaldo because he’s too old.

Reports in Germany had linked the Portuguese superstar with a switch to the Bundesliga champions during the January transfer window but unsurprisingly nothing came of it.

It is no secret Bayern are in the market for a new forward after long-serving aces Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben both left last summer.

Leroy Sane remains right at the top of their wishlist but his serious knee injury means Bayern have been forced to wait on his arrival.

But there was just one name the fans wanted to hear more about when club president Herbert Hainer attended a fan event.

When asked on the possibility of landing Ronaldo, PNP reports he responded: “Of course there are many names in the press, which is understandable.

“But Ronaldo should be a bit too old for us.”

  • VEDDY SET GO

Tottenham have been joined by Monaco in the race to land Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi, according to reports.

Fanatik report that the Ligue 1 club consider the Kosovo star as the long-term replacement for Islam Slimani, who is currently on loan from Leicester.

  • CAM AND GET IT

Manchester United could return to Sporting CP for another purchase after reportedly joining the race for ex-Liverpool starlet Rafa Camacho.

The 19-year-old left the Reds in the summer in a bid to secure first-team football at former home Lisbon.

According to Football Insider, United face competition from Everton and Tottenham with the trio just some of the growing number of clubs scouting Camacho.

  • ON THE PAUL

Juventus have reportedly started talks with Paul Pogba's super agent Mino Raiola with the Frenchman keen on a move back to Turin to reunite with Paulo Dybala.

The two spent a year playing together for the Old Lady before midfielder Pogba returned to Manchester United in a deal worth £89million.

Reports in Tutto Sport suggest the 26-year-old is “dreaming” of playing with Argentina star Dybala once again.

The two former team-mates have maintained the special bond they shared in Serie A and are thought to relish the prospect of a reunion.

  • DO YOU NOU THE WAY, JOSE

Barcelona have reportedly made Tottenham target Willian Jose their 'No 1 choice' as they look forward to life without Luis Suarez next season.

Spurs missed out on signing the Real Sociedad striker in the January window when they could not meet the Spanish club's valuation, according to reports.

And now Barca are ready to nip in this summer, ahead of a second bid from the North Londoners, according to Marca.

It is believed the Basque club want as much as £60million which is in the player's release clause.
