Arsenal target Bruno Guimaraes will join Lyon intead of moving to North London, according to reports.
The Ligue 1 club are close to a £21million switch for the Athletico Paranaense midfield enforcer.
The move would be a blow for the Gunners, but new boss Mikel Arteta has breathed life into Lucas Torreira and Granit Xhaka since taking over.
HE'LL HAVE A HOOT
United defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has joined Oldham Athletic on loan.
The 22-year-old – a favourite of Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho – has linked up with the Owls after a failed loan stint at Tranmere, where he played just six times.
INTERCHANGE
Inter are just smashing it this transfer window.
They have given Napoli permission to talk to winger Matteo Politano, while the club want to bring in Fernando Llorente.
The deal for the former Spurs striker Llorente is understood to be a loan.
It will also see the Serie A title-challengers end their interest in Chelsea's Olivier Giroud.

Leyton Orient will unveil their re-named West Stand after tragic Justin Edinburgh, ahead of their game against another of the late manager's former clubs, Newport County.
The former Spurs midfielder, who also managed Orient and the Exiles, passed away in June aged 49 after a heart attack.
