    REAL DEAL

Arsenal are set to battle Real Madrid over Real Sociedad star Alexander Isak.

According to AS, Real are keen on Isak and the same goes for a number of Premier League sides, such as the Gunners.

In fact, the north Londoners have already made contact with the striker's representatives and there is a possibility they could meet his release clause, worth €70million (£59m)

But Sociedad are said to have offered the Sweden international a new deal that would see his release clause boosted to €90m (£77m), which may well put off any suitors in the current market

    CAM AND GET HIM

Arsenal have reportedly made Rennes ace Eduardo Camavinga their top transfer target this summer.

Gunners manager Mikel Arteta is determined to sign a top midfielder to partner up with Thomas Partey in the middle of the park.

According to the Daily Express, Arteta is so impressed by Camavinga that he's willing to sell Bernd Leno, William Saliba, Matteo Guendouzi and Eddie Nketiah in order to finance a move for him.

The France international has drawn comparisons to Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira after a brilliant season at Ligue 1

Brighton are playing hardball with Arsenal over Ben White and demanding £50million PLUS add-ons, SunSport can exclusively reveal.

Arsenal’s second bid of £42m — in an overall deal which could have been worth £45m — has now been turned down.

A number of other top clubs had been interested in the England centre-back.

That includes Pairs Saint-Germain, Tottenham, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund

    GOOD MORNING ARSENAL FANS,

Kieran Tierney has signed a new FIVE-YEAR contract at Arsenal worth £110,000 a week.

The Scotland defender, 24, joined the Gunners in the summer of 2019 in a £25million deal from Celtic.

Despite being hampered by injuries, Tierney has quickly became an integral member of Mikel Arteta’s squad, playing 62 times at left-back, left-wing-back or even on the left of a central three.

Emirates boss Arteta has expressed his delight at Tierney signing a long-term extension – believed to be worth £110,000 per week – saying: “This is great news for us.

“As manager of the club, speaking on behalf of the coaching staff and the entire staff, it’s a pleasure to work with KT.

“His quality, energy, commitment and professionalism, not only on matchdays, but every day in training are always at such a high level.

“KT gives us so much extra strength both defensively and offensively and it’s great to know that he’ll be with us for the long term.

“Since his move from Celtic, his work ethic and quality has ensured that he is already one of most exciting players in the Premier League and a hugely important part of our team, both on and off the pitch.

“I know all the fans will join me, the players and staff in looking forward to seeing KT playing in an Arsenal shirt for a few more years.”

Technical director Edu added: “We are so pleased to have agreed a new long-term deal with Kieran.

“Anyone who has seen him play will recognise very quickly that he is a player of huge ability.

“But I can tell you that he is also a player with a fantastic attitude and mentality.

“Kieran’s new contract is not just about the present and next season, it’s with a long-term vision and Kieran being an integral part of the future of the club.”

Elsewhere, William Saliba will MISS Arsenal’s pre-season this summer.

The defender, 20, will instead be on international duty, after being called up to France’s 18-man squad for the Olympics in Japan.

Les Bleus will kick off their campaign at Tokyo Stadium on July 22.

And should they be successful, they will play the final at Yokohama Stadium on August 7.

This means that Saliba may still be playing at the Olympics just SIX days before Arsenal get their Premier League campaign underway against Brentford.

The call-up will be an honour for Saliba, but is the latest blow for an Arsenal career that has never really got going.

Arsenal’s second bid of £42m — in an overall deal which could have been worth £45m — has now been turned down.

The clubs are locked in talks with Albion owner Tony Bloom refusing to back down.

Arsenal, whose first bid was £40m, are discussing a potential offer of £45m plus £5m in add-ons.

    LOVE TO SEA IT

David Seaman would be delighted if Arsenal were to sign Ben White.

Deals for young stars before they hit their peak are a must in the former goalkeeper’s eyes, who likened the deal to Arsene Wenger’s best signings.

He stated on talkSPORT: “I think we’re going down that route of players where they have young, promising careers ahead of them.

“The days of signing marquee players – that are right on it now – Arsenal will struggle with that as they’re not in Europe.

“Arsenal are nowhere near [the Champions League] and they need to restructure their transfer policy.

“Arsene Wenger used to pick out people and he’d sign them and we’d asked, ‘who’s that?’ Then they turned out to be Thierry Henry!”

    DOR OPENED

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in signing PSV Eindhoven forward Donyell Malen.

And the German club could use some of the money from Jadon Sancho’s imminent sale to Manchester United to fund the move.

Personal terms between Sancho and United have been agreed, with the Red Devils now needing to stump up an additional £8.5million to complete the deal.

Dortmund are plotting a £25m move for Malen, according to German outlet Bild.

And talks between Dortmund and Malen’s agen Mino Raiola have already begun.

The fee for the Netherlands international could rise but the Bundesliga club view the 22-year-old as Sancho’s replacement.

    BA-LACKING COURAGE

Michael Ballack has delivered a withering assessment of Germany’s chances against England – insisting too many of their players lack the heart for a battle.

He said: “We always find it difficult when we play against countries who are mentally strong and good in one-on-one duels.

“We have some lads who possess these characteristics – but not enough of them.

“Unfortunately we have too many players who have not learned how to be flexible during matches.

“They are pushed to their limits in difficult situations, when they need to win using other means than those originally planned.”

    PREM PROMISE

The Premier League have agreed to fund over 2,000 new defibrillators across grassroots football in the wake of Christian Eriksen’s brush with death.

The first phase will see the AEDs rolled out to Football Foundation funded facilities which currently do not have access to the life-saving device.

Then grassroots clubs across England who own their own facilities will then be able to apply for funding for a defibrillator.

Over 2,000 sites will benefit from this investment, with the first 1,000 units delivered in time for the start of season 2021-22 and the second wave expected in September.

Once installed, the AEDs will be accessible, if required, to an estimated 1.5m people that use these facilities per season.

As part of the scheme, each recipient will have required to send at least one person on the FA’s free Sudden Cardiac Arrest course to learn how to use them and also help with tips on CPR.
