Conor McGregor appears to taunt Khabib over dad's death and sends message to Poirier's wife in now-deleted Twitter rant
CONOR MCGREGOR unleashed a disgusting Twitter rant that appeared to mock rival Khabib Nurmagomedov’s late father’s death and Dustin Poirier’s wife.
Notorious is still reeling after he broke his tibia seconds before the end of round one against Diamond at UFC 264, losing by doctor stoppage, this month.
His former foe Khabib seemed to take pleasure in the Irishman’s defeat by congratulating Poirier while tweeting: “Good always defeats evil.”
McGregor had remained quiet until yesterday, but he did respond on social media with a now-deleted tweet saying: “Covid is good and father is evil?”
Khabib's father and trainer, Abdulmanap, died last summer following complications caused by coronavirus.
The Eagle nearly quit the sport there and then but fought one last time to beat Justin Gaethje in October and then retire with a 29-0 record.
He and McGregor hate each other after their infamous clash at UFC 229 that erupted into a post-fight brawl after Khabib’s victory.
WIFE ATTACK
But he was not the only one to feel the wrath of the former champ-champ on Twitter.
After his recent setback against Poirier, the angry McGregor said: “I was boxing the bleeding head off him. Kicking the legs off him.
“He’s always just diving to close the distance. THIS IS NOT OVER! This is a bloody b*****s!
When asked if the leg fracture was from a checked kick, McGregor said: “There was no check.
“There was not one of them I checked. Your wife is in my DM’s. Hey baby, hit me back and we will chat later on. You little hoe.”
Last night he continued to speak about Poirier’s wife, tweeting: “Wow you guys! He checked the kick with his butt cheek.
“Jumping a guillotine is not a takedown. Absorbing the kick into the leg is not a check. A doctor stoppage is not a TKO. The game goes on b****es.
“P*** ants to me yous all are. Not even peasants. P*** ants! Now get to your stationed vlogger cameras you novice bums!”
McGregor then followed that up by posting a tweet from a fake Jolie Poirier account and captioning it with: “Stay out of my dm’s butch.”
It comes after McGregor continued to enjoy his recovery from surgery by attending his pal Justin Bieber's concert.
The pair have formed an unlikely bromance in recent times.
They were pictured enjoying whiskies together in Beverly Hills last week.
McGregor is on holiday in Los Angeles with his family, celebrating his sister Aoife's 35th birthday during their time away.
And Bieber invited the Irishman to watch his Freedom performance live with the UFC superstar later taking to Instagram to share some of his favourite snaps from the night out with his family.
