Inside Neymar’s all-white birthday bash at plush Paris nightclub with PSG pals that wound up boss Tuchel – The Sun

NEYMAR celebrated his 28th birthday three days early by throwing a lavish all-white bash in a Parisian nightlcub.

His boss Thomas Tuchel had labelled last night's celebrations a "distraction" because they came just two days before the Ligue 1 side's clash against Nantes.

But that did not stop star players including Kylian Mbappe, Edinson Cavani and ex-Manchester United ace Ander Herrera turning out in force despite the heavy rain.

Yoyo club – barely half a mile from the Eiffel Tower – was the site of the Brazilian superstar's party – even though he does not turn 28 until Wednesday.

Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes were among the first to arrive, kitted out according to the all-white theme.

Workers shielded the stars with umbrellas as they rocked up from 9pm local time, with one even using a squeegee on the pavement.

And the invites were not limited to PSG players, with former Old Trafford man Memphis Depay, who now plays for Lyon, also turning up.

Edinson Cavani – strongly linked with a move to David Beckham's Inter Miami side – and Mauro Icardi were two of the superstar strikers in attendance, with Icardi's wife Wanda Nara also there.

Marco Verratti, Marcin Bulka, Thiago Silva and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting all arrived dressed head-to-toe in white, as did Neymar Senior.

Mbappe did eventually turn up at 11.30pm, but only first going to Blaise Matuidi's charity gala held at Disneyland.

Neymar took to social media to show off pictures from inside the bash alongside the caption: "I was happy, deal with it."

Unsurprisingly, no one from the PSG hierarchy was seen going into the exclusive nightspot.

Tuchel made clear what he thought of the lavish celebrations, usually reserved for the end of the season.

After speaking of PSG's 2-1 victory over Nantes, he said: "What can I do? If I leave out all the players that were out at night, I would not have a team. That is how it is."

Neymar missed Tuesday’s match against Nantes due to a rib injury he sustained in PSG’s 5-0 win over Montpellier HSC on Saturday 1st February, however, he is expected to return for their upcoming league match.

PSG are set to play Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday 9th February as they comfortably sit top of Ligue 1 with 58 points.
