'It's as bad as the team' – Man Utd fans horrified by new 2022-23 home kit with triangular collar after it is 'leaked'

MANCHESTER UNITED fans are horrified at their so-called "leaked" new home shirt – with one joking it is "as bad as the team".

The Red Devils' kits for next season will be made by adidas once more.

But a potential version for the 2022-23 season – the first for new manager Erik ten Hag – has left supporters bemoaning the design.

It is, of course, a red shirt with the famous club badge inside a weird shield, as revealed by FootyHeadlines.

The adidas logo is white with the iconic three stripes down the sleeves in black.

But it is around the top that things get particularly interesting.

A retro white polo-style collar sports a series of bizarre triangles – said to be a throwback to adidas' 1994 World Cup design.

The geometry is expected to be repeated on the black socks, with United going for white shorts again.

But the alleged new jersey has not got many positive reactions on social media – with a mixture of sick, shocked and crying emojis in the replies.

One said: "That looks as bad as the team! Fitting!"
