Kyle Walker wanted in emotional Premier League reunion but Saudis also keen on transfer as ace ‘likely’ to quit Man City | The Sun
KYLE WALKER is the latest big name wanted by the Saudi Pro League – but he could also be set for an emotional return to his first club.
The 33-year-old England international is still celebrating after clinching the Treble with Manchester City.
The full-back has 12 months remaining on his contract at the Etihad, but a fresh report states he could leave this summer.
TalkSPORT have claimed that he is wanted by his hometown club Sheffield United.
The Blades have just returned to the Premier League after promotion from the Championship.
Walker came through the youth ranks at Bramall Lane into the first-team before he was snapped-up by Tottenham in 2009.

However, the South Yorkshire club allegedly face competition from the money-laded Middle East.
TalkSport also claims “Walker, who is weighing up his future at City, is also attracting interest from Saudi Arabia” this summer.
Meanwhile, The Athletic states that there is a “high chance” that Walker will leave.
They say the full-back has been “unhappy with his playing time this season” and he was also left out of the starting XI for last weekend’s 1-0 Champions League triumph over Inter Milan.

The report claims that “sources indicate that the time has come for a parting of the ways, and although a return to promoted boyhood club Sheffield United has often been mooted, a move abroad may be on the cards” for the star.
Sun Sport exclusively reported last month how Walker is ready to snub interest from abroad and see out the final 12 months of his contract at City.
There are no immediate talks planned over another extension to his present £160,000-a-week terms.
But despite rotating him more this season, Pep Guardiola believes Walker can still mix it at the top level.
And the Catalan boss is happy to let youngster Rico Lewis bide his time for more regular starts.
City paid £50million to sign Walker from Tottenham in 2017 and he has gone on to win Premier League title medals with the club.
He has also lifted the FA Cup twice as well as the League Cup on four occasions.
And now the Three Lions ace, who remains one of the fastest players in the top-flight, has etched his name into City folklore by being part of the Treble-winning squad.
