Man Utd transfer target Jadon Sancho ‘can play for anyone in the world’ says Mats Hummels – The Sun

JADON SANCHO could play for "any team in the world", according to his Borussia Dortmund team-mate Mats Hummels.

The Englishman, still only 19, has starred since moving to the Bundesliga side in 2017.

So much so that he is being linked with a £100million move to Manchester United next summer, with talks taking place between the two clubs already.

The Old Trafford club are desperate to find the player who can propel them back into the Champions League and ensure they compete with rivals Manchester City and Liverpool domestically.

United finished 19 points behind City in 2018 and a staggering 32 behind their 'noisy neighbours' last term.

But speaking to Bild, defender Hummels sang Sancho's praises, suggesting the winger could instead cut it at one of the biggest clubs in the world rather than a Europa League side in transition.

He said: "I could imagine him in just about any team in the world.

"Although he's not mature yet, Jadon is already an outstanding footballer.

"His one-on-one, the pace. He loves to prepare goals.

"He is an absolute weapon that even has potential for improvement."

Sancho featured for Borussia Dortmund in their 0-0 draw with Barcelona last night – his 70th senior appearance for club and country.

In that time he has racked up 17 goals, netting his first Champions League goal against Atletico Madrid last season.

And he got his Three Lions account off the mark with a double in the bonkers 5-3 win over Kosovo last week.
