Man Utd vs Perth Glory team news: Fans fuming as Young and Jones start while £50m new signing Wan-Bissaka left on the bench

AARON WAN-BISSAKA has been left on the bench for Manchester United's opening pre-season clash.

But club captain Ashley Young and defender Phil Jones have been given the nod for the game against Perth Glory.

United fans were hoping to see their new £50million summer signing in action for the first time following his arrival from Crystal Palace.

His summer exploits for England's Euro Under-21 campaign means boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not keen in throwing him straight into the starting line-up.

Fans will get to see new signing Daniel James in action for the first time as he starts on the wing.

There is no space in the starting XI for Paul Pogba or Romelu Lukaku who didn't even make the bench with rumours linking him with Inter Milan.

It appears Solskjaer is already in the firing line from supporters following his decision to opt with veteran Young and Jones.

One fan said: "Bring in Wan-Bissaka and starts Young. That's logic for you."

Another added: "I'd start the tea lady over Young."
