Next Premier League manager sacked odds: Leeds boss Gracia on the brink as price slashed overnight | The Sun

BOOKMAKERS Sky Bet have slashed the odds on Javi Gracia to be the next Premier League manager to leave after reports he's set to be replaced.

The bookies have adjusted their betting markets following another dramatic Premier League weekend, with Gracia now just 1/12 to be the next to leave his post.

Gracia enjoyed a terrific start to life at Elland Road, picking up wins over Wolves, Southampton and Nottingham Forest.

However, things have taken a downward turn after 5-1 and 6-1 defeats to Crystal Palace and Liverpool were swiftly followed by a 2-1 loss at Fulham, home draw with relegation rivals Leicester and last weekend's thumping 4-1 defeat at Bournemouth.

The players were forced to address the situation with a public apology to the supporters following that defeat, in which Gracia looks set to pay the ultimate price.

Reports emerged late on Monday evening that he was set to be replaced by regular Premier League saviour, Sam Allardyce.

Allardyce would have just four games to weave his magic, with Leeds only above the drop zone on goal difference, with Everton in 19th just a point behind and two others locked on 30 points alongside them.

No manager to leave their post is next favourite at 6/1, with Steve Cooper the next likely at 12/1.

Nottingham Forest gained promotion after a 23-year absence from the English top flight, but they are now 8/11 to drop straight back to the Championship.

Forest are in 18th position with 30 points, and have just four matches of the campaign remaining to transform their fortunes.

A 3-1 win over Brighton last midweek gave huge hope a turnaround was on the way before a 2-1 defeat at Brentford at the weekend.
