Neymar’s father and agent ‘set to meet Juventus chiefs’ to discuss transfer… and blockbuster link-up with Cristiano Ronaldo – The Sun

NEYMAR'S father is set to meet Juventus chiefs to discuss a potential swoop for the Paris Saint Germain star, according to reports.

The Ligue 1 champions have already conceded the Brazil forward will leave Parc des Princes this summer.

And according to CalcioMercato, Neymar Sr has been touring around Europe and talking to clubs who could offer his son an escape route.

He is now expected to meet Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici in Turin.

The pair will reportedly discuss a potential move that would sensationally see Neymar, 27, link up with Cristiano Ronaldo, 34.

The PSG star has made it clear he favours a return to Barcelona.

But the La Liga champs can't afford him after splashing £108million on Antoine Griezmann.

It has been revealed Barca are in a gigantic £800m debt, putting their plans to sign Neymar in doubt.

And therefore his father – who also acts as his agent – is looking for alternative destinations for the winger, including Manchester United and Juventus.

It seems unlikely, however, that the Serie A giants would be able to cough up enough money to convince PSG to sell Neymar.

Only last year Juve signed Ronaldo for a whopping £80m – and they have now splashed £67.5m on Matthijs de Ligt.
