Peterborough boss Grant McCann looking to raid old club Hull in transfer for 20-year-old keeper Harvey Cartwright | The Sun
PETERBOROUGH boss Grant McCann wants to sign young keeper Harvey Cartwright from his old club Hull.
Cartwright, 20, made a couple of appearances for the Tigers but may benefit from game time in League One next season.
McCann hopes Hull will let Cartwright move on loan for the season and offer him that chance to start for Posh.
Cartwright is keen to keep on improving and has admitted he is keen to play regularly.
He told The Yorkshire Post: “Last season was a massive season of progression. Even though I only played two games, I still learned from them and it was a taster to make me want more.
“It is the classic saying, once you have played, you keep wanting more and I want to get as many games as I can.

“[Shota Arveladze] just wants me to get better and whoever the goalkeepers are, he wants us to push each other on for the number one shirt and for us to get better.”
Cartwright has also revealed his spell on loan in non-league at Gainsborough Trinity helped toughen him up.
The keeper would get "lumped" from crosses.
He continued: "It was a massive learning curve and a really good experience to see that side of the game.
