Rashford drives to training days after being chauffeured into Carrington as Man Utd striker recovers from back injury – The Sun

MARCUS RASHFORD drove himself to Carrington on Saturday just days after having to be chauffeured in following his back injury.

The Manchester United striker, 22, suffered a stress fracture in his back against Wolves earlier in January.

He is now set to miss at least eight weeks of action as the pressure mounts on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to try and finish in the top four and secure Champions League qualification.

Rashford had to be given a lift in earlier in the week but clearly felt able enough to get himself to the training ground on Saturday.

However, he will not be part of the Manchester United training session as they prepare to face Tranmere on Sunday.

Rovers dumped Watford out of the FA Cup on Thursday to earn a dream tie at home to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.

Sergio Romero played in goal in the third round as United scraped past Wolves.
