Real Madrid to include Casemiro as part of move for ‘transfer listed’ Neymar
REAL MADRID are willing to offer PSG Casemiro as part of a transfer for Neymar, reports in Spain claim.
It comes after the recent revelation PSG are prepared to cut their losses with Neymar just two years after paying Barcelona a record £198million for the Brazilian.
Spanish outlet Marca report Real chiefs are putting in motion a bid for the forward and will include midfielder Casemiro in order to drive the price down.
PSG are desperate for a holding midfielder with French rebel Adrien Rabiot frozen out of the squad and set to leave, while centre-back Marquinhos was forced to fill the void.
Napoli star Allan has also been linked with a move to the French capital, but Casemiro has been monitored after he featured heavily for Real last season.
With Neymar understood to be “transfer listed” the French champions rate the player at close to the £198m they paid to sign him in 2017.
Though this is said to have put off potential bidders, with the 27-year-old currently nursing another ankle injury that has kept him out of the Copa America this month.
Reports in Spain and France suggest the Brazil star is open to leaving Paris and prefers a switch back to Barcelona.
Despite heavy interest from Real, who have already signed Eden Hazard and continue to monitor Paul Pogba, Neymar is said to have no interest in a transfer to the Spanish capital.
Representatives of the PSG ace are believed to have already started negotiating with Barcelona bosses to secure a switch back to the Nou Camp.
But with such a great price tag, a player plus cash deal has emerged as the most likely possibility – leaving Neymar’s countrymen Philippe Coutinho braced for a move to France.
