Ruben Neves next club odds – Man Utd lead Arsenal, Tottenham & Liverpool for Wolves star ahead of transfer deadline day

MANCHESTER UNITED are favourites to sign Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.

But time is running out for the Red Devils to clinch his signature before the transfer window closes on August 31.

United supporters are desperate to see their club sign a midfielder with Fred and Nemanja Matic both receiving criticism for their displays against Southampton.

Reports claim Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified Neves as a potential target, while Bruno Fernandes would also welcome his compatriot to Old Trafford.

Sky Bet think they are the leading contenders at odds of 5/1.

And their hopes have been further bolstered after recent comments from Wolves manager Bruno Lage, who suggested a sale could be possible.

Arsenal were previously favourites for Neves' signature after SunSport revealed the player's agent was in contact with Gunners chiefs.

Jorge Mendes held discussions with Arsenal technical director Edu about a potential move.

However, Arsenal's odds have drifted out to 7/1.

Neves has two years remaining on his contract, which expires in June 2023.

But the Midlands club are open to cashing for around £35million this summer to avoid negotiating while he's in the final 12 months of his deal.

Atletico Madrid and Tottenham are locked together at 16s while Liverpool are further behind at 18/1.
