NOBLE DYNASTY cost more than £3.5m as a yearling and comes from Charlie Appleby who has made a good start to the campaign. As you’d expect for the price, he’s beautifully bred and can make a winning start.

Godolphin have a really strong hand with Barber Of Seville sure to know his job coming from John Gosden and Future Vision having the champ Oisin Murphy on board.

Haseef is bred to relish this trip at two and is another to watch.

TRUESHAN showed big improvement for Alan King last season, including when winning the Old Rowley Cup over course and distance in October. He deserves to step into this Listed company and has more to come.

First In Line was second to the tip at HQ before stepping up in trip to score on the all-weather. John Gosden can conjure more from him this summer.

Communique is the class act in the field after landing the Group 2 Tattersalls Stakes on the July course. He finished the season with a couple of flat efforts in Germany but has his sights lowered today.

Ghostwatch missed last season but was really promising before that and is worth watching.

Faylaq didn’t like the mud in a hot contest at Ascot last time in October and will be happier here.

2.25

DAVYDENKO won after eight months off at the start of last season and moved nicely through the ranks with good handicap wins on the July course here and Doncaster. He scored as he liked on Town Moor and a 7lb rise in the weights won’t stop him over his best trip.

West End Charmer is another coming from a convincing success at Donny a year ago. All his best efforts have come over this distance and he’s got much more to come.

Good Birthday was a solid third in the Cambridgeshire here in September when flying home. That suggests this extra furlong will be ideal and he’s off the same mark for in-form Andrew Balding.

Desert Icon is consistent and finished the campaign with back-to-back seconds. He stays well and should improve as a four-year-old for William Haggas.

Sky Defender needs to translate his all-weather form to the green stuff.

3.00

SNOW SHOWER was impressive when winning on debut at Salisbury over 7f. She tanked along out wide before finishing strongly. This longer trip will be ideal.

Tiempo Vuela looks the pick of the John Gosden team. She won in first gear on debut at Newcastle and is another bred for this distance.

Run Wild has the champ on board and has already gone close at Group level. She’s got more miles on the clock than the others though.

Trefoil impressed when winning on debut here in October and she’ll love the trip.

Alpen Rose won well at Donny before getting stuck in the mud in Listed company in November.

3.35

MILLISLE can strike for Jessica Harrington and Oisin Murphy. She has already struck at Group 1 level when taking the Cheveley Park Stakes here in September. That was over 6f but her top-class connections are sure she’ll get home at the mile.

Quadrilateral has been favourite for a while and with good reason after she took the Fillies’ Mile over course and distance in October. That was just her third run and she is guaranteed to get home.

Cloak Of Spirits looks a potential big improver for Richard Hannon. She ran on over 7f when third in the Rockfel here and will improve for this distance.

Love is respected from Aidan O’Brien. She landed the Group 1 Moyglare at the Curragh before chasing home Quadrilateral. That gives her some improving to do.

Raffle Prize was busy at two but did well to win the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot and a Group 2 here before chasing home Millisle. If she stays, she’ll be right there.

Summer Romance looks the type to improve over a mile and did win a Listed race here in June. She could nick a place at hefty odds.

4.10

EBURY improved through last season and finished with a game win over course and distance in November. He’s up a fair 3lb for that and still has few miles on the clock for a four-year-old.

Ouzo looks potentially ahead of the handicapper and he was in winning form on the July course this time last year. This trip is ideal and he is the big danger.

4.45

KING LEONIDAS caught the eye when running right away from his rivals to win a decent maiden her in October. That was over 7f and he’ll improve for the mile and that experience.

Eastern World was very green in finishing second at Kempton on debut in December. He can take a big step forward from that.

Bullfinch got off the mark at Chelmsford and is another nice miler in the making.

5.20

SPECTRUM OF LIGHT put in a promising effort when beaten less than a length at Newcastle on debut in December. He improved as the race went on and has a lot more to offer.

Sunray Major is bred to be classy and is another nice newcomer for John Gosden and Frankie Dettori. He should be right there.

5.55

VINDICATE will have learned plenty from his win at Chelmsford over a mile in August. He looks the type to really improve for this step up in distance and he goes handicapping from what looks a fair mark.

Bronze River is another who won at the Essex track latest and has more to come now he’s tackling middle distances.

Charlie Appleby has two big chances in Native Tribe and Al Maysan who both won well last time out.

6.30

MOTAGALLY can land a hat-trick after good victories at Brighton and last time out at Wolverhampton. The form of that all-weather contest in October has worked out well and there’s more to come from Charles Hills’ four-year-old.

Mountain Peak signed off last term with a close second at Bath and looks a fair price to hit the frame.

Daschas likes this course and distance and had a bit in hand when scoring at Yarmouth latest.

HAYDOCK

2.05

FANNY LOGAN should find this a lot easier than her last run in the Breeders’ Cup across the pond at Santa Anita. It was a massive effort to finish just over a length off the winner and gaining all the time. She landed four on the spin before that including in this class and stepping up in distance looks a wise move.

Manuela De Vega went close in a Germany Group 1 in November when relishing this distance. She could do with a bit of rain but has plenty of quality.

Andrew Balding has started the season like a train and his Shailene can’t be ruled out. She’s a Listed winner at best but we know she’ll be fit and this trip is her best.

Sir Michael Stoute is another in-form trainer and Vivionn stepped out of handicap company for a close second in a York Listed race last time. His horses improve with age and she has more to offer.

Bella Vita was fifth in that Knavesmire contest and has plenty to find, as does handicapper Lady Of Shalott.

2.40

ELARQAM can get the better of Sangarius in what looks a cracking race for Group 3 level. He won at a higher level at York last season and was just a length away in the red-hot International Stakes back on the Knavesmire. The Irish Champion Stakes was a bridge too far but that came at the end of a busy season and he can get back to winning ways over his favourite trip.

Sangarius was pulled out of a Listed contest at Newmarket on Friday over a mile. He was last seen winning the Hampton Court Stakes at Royal Ascot over this trip so that could prove to be a wise move. Whatever happens today he’s one to watch this season.

Lord North won the Cambridgeshire before going close in a big Ascot handicap and signing off with a Listed win over course and distance. He is respected coming from in-form John Gosden.

Bangkok can’t be dismissed despite his odds-on defeat in the Winter Derby at Lingfield in February.

3.15

SPACE BLUES went close twice at Group 1 level in France last summer including over this distance. He was too bad to be true in Dubai latest when coming back to 6f may not have suited. He was a game winner at Epsom the last time he dropped into this Listed class.

Safe Voyage is another who held his own at the highest level last term with an excellent second in the QEII Stakes at Ascot in October. That was over a mile but he won this race 12 months ago and will make another bold bid.

Happy Power is another who usually goes over further but is proven in this grade and has solid place claims.

Yafta has had training problems over the past couple of seasons but is a proven group performer who could have a say down in class.

Stablemate Urban Icon has the benefit of a Listed win at Wolverhampton in March and could make his relative fitness pay.

D’Bai landed a good Dubai victory over this distance in January and wasn’t beaten far in Australia last time out in November.
