Tyson Fury's dad John reveals how Eddie Hearn 'cost Anthony Joshua £100MILLION' after Battle of Britain collapses | The Sun
JOHN FURY claims that Eddie Hearn cost Anthony Joshua £100million by failing to get a contract signed for AJ to fight son Tyson.
Hearn, 43, announced yesterday that the dream match-up between Fury and Joshua is OFF after a breakdown in negotiations.
The Matchroom promoter insists the matter is "still open for discussions" but suggested the fight is "off" as it stands.
In a direct response, Big John said: "This is a video to Eddie Hearn… Mr Brains of Britain, let me explain it to you my friend, how you cost your man over a hundred million.
"Fifteen million step aside money, free money. Then Tyson would have gone and done what AJ couldn't do, is gone and beat Usyk and bring all the belts back to the UK.
"In the meantime, AJ could have had a couple of easy victories, thirty mil, then he could have challenged Tyson for the belt, well who knows what numbers that would have done?

"So yeah, you don't need to be the brains of Britain to see how you cost him money and put him in a position where you were on a hiding to nothing, Mr Brains of Britain.
"You've got him beat over there when he could have had 15 million free money, step aside money, and Tyson would have gone and beaten his man up for him and brought all the belts back in.
"He could have challenged him after some easy victories, free money I might as well say.
"So yeah, you're a clever man Eddie aren't you? Very clever."

On exactly why the fight has failed to materialise, Hearntold Matchroom Boxing: "They gave us terms ultimately in a date they thought we wouldn't accept. We did accept that.
"We were ready to go. If they would have signed the contract on Monday, they had a fight.
"We were asked to agree the deal by Monday, then we were asked to agree it by Wednesday. We got their comments back on Wednesday.
"We were never gonna sign the fight, and we were told the fight is off.
"So, it's still there. It's still open for discussions. But we're not gonna play a game with a bloke that's just coming out telling AJ it's off and then he's a dosser and he's gotta sign it etc.
"Have your fight if you wanna fight someone else and we'll do our thing, and we'll see what happens."
He even added that Fury has moved on to another, less appealing match-up.
Hearn added: "At the weekend, or Friday, Derek Chisora received a contract for the Tyson Fury fight.
