Amanda Holden’s golden buzzer act revealed as heartthrob BGT boyband Chapter 13
Amanda Holden pressed her golden buzzer on tonight's Britain's Got Talent for young boyband Chapter 13.
The talent youngsters, who were all aged between 14 and 15, got a standing ovation after their incredible performance.
Jacob Swann, Noah Key, Tom Absihold and Jake Slack performed a medley of Stevie Wonder's biggest hits, including Sir Duke and Superstition.
Chapter 13, who met while performing in the School of Rock musical on the West End, wowed the judges and the audience with their singing, guitar skills and drum playing.
Impressed Amanda could not believe what she had witnessed and told the boys they had to win the entire competition.
Amanda said: "I honestly can say I don’t think I’ve seen four young musicians so together.
"The drummer, you were amazing. The guitar playing was spot on. Some of the faces you were pulling fantastic.
"I just think you are absolutely incredible and now you just have to win the whole show."
Without hesitation the BGT judge then slammed down the golden buzzer.
Golden confetti rained down on the stunned lads, while their families started screaming in the crowd.
Amanda ran on stage to hug the boys, telling them: "I could not resist. You were absolutely fantastic."
Ecstatic Amanda admitted she was shaking after sending Chapter 13 through to the live shows.
Congratulating the band, Alesha Dixon said: "Honestly the musicship I just saw was outstanding. Your skill level is so impressive."
David Walliams said: "It was so refreshing. You were so brilliant and they were original versions of those songs. It was faultless guys. You came – you conquered."
Simon Cowell then claimed he hadn't seen something as exciting since he watched a young Busted perform.
He said: "This is so well deserved what you just had. I think what's really exciting is the last time I saw something like this was a band called Busted."
BGT viewers took to Twitter to praise Chapter 13 for their performance.
One fan said: "Chapter 13 fully deserved there golden buzzer they were great brilliant choice"
Another added: "How amazing are Chapter 13?! Amazing!! Best golden buzzer act this year!! "
A third said: "Chapter 13 – kids who rock! Great to see, and inspiring for the younger generation."
