Ashley Banjo’s wife Francesca gives birth to their second child as Diversity star shares adorable photo of newborn son – The Sun

ASHLEY Banjo's wife Francesca has given birth to their second child.

The Diversity star, 31, announced the happy news on Instagram today.

In an adorable picture the new parents gazed lovingly at their son Micah.

Ashley wrote: "On Thursday the 26th March at 6.45pm our son came into the world weighing a healthy 8lbs 15oz.

"His name is Micah Grace Banjo… Our son, our little ray of light in a dark and uncertain time.

"@francescabanjo and I love him with the deepest part of our hearts ❤️??."

Their celeb pals rushed to congratulate them.

Ashley's brother Jordan wrote: "Something incredible in these dark times bro❤️.

"So proud of you both! And of course already love my new little nephew?❤️❤️."

Megan McKenna shared: "Congratulations to you both!"

As Oti Mabuse said: "Congratulations to you and your whole family."

The couple revealed they were expecting their second child in December – just ten months after their daughter Rose was born.

Sharing a picture of their scan, he wrote:  “It's a good job we like surprises! Baby number 2 is officially in the mum oven ladies and gents and I feel so blessed and excited

“Our little family is growing @francescabanjo #nextchapter #family.”

The Dancing On Ice judge and his wife became parents for the first in February of last year.

At the time, Ashley posted a candid snap from the hospital, Ashley told fans: "Our beautiful daughter came into the world at 6.45pm on 21st February 2019 – weighing a healthy 8lbs and 13oz.

"Her name is Rose Adura Banjo. I am in the deepest love ever with my little family."

The pair, who married in 2015,  previously revealed they had “tough” journey to conceive their first child.

Announcing they were expecting their daughter Rose, he said: “I don't know if words alone can explain how full of joy and happiness we both are. It has been a more difficult journey to this point than most people know but we are now here with one of the most precious gifts in the world… A little girl!


“I have so many strong and incredible women around me, I know she will have great examples to follow.

“Especially this woman right here – my wife and my rock. You are going to be the best mum in the world.

“I'm so excited to see our little one grow up and if by any chance she wanted to be like her daddy and bust a few moves, I've already got the dancing shoes covered! Can't wait to meet you little sweetie.”
