BBC Strictly fans broken as they spot pros reaction to saddest exit yet

Strictly Come Dancing fans were reduced to tears following Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu's exit from the BBC One show on Sunday, 26 November.

TV presenter Angela, 39, and Strictly pro Carlos, 30, faced Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin the dance-off after the results of the public vote were revealed.

Judges Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke opted to save Layton and Nikita, meaning Angela and Carlos were sadly eliminated from the competition.

The pair's exit proved to be hugely emotional, with fans spotting Carlos breaking down in tears as he and Angela took to the dance floor one final time.

Carlos could be seen wiping away tears with one hand as he and Angela slowly danced together for the last time. As the Strictly credits rolled, the professional dancer put his hands on his head as he was overcome with emotion.

Fans at home were quick to spot Carlos' tears, with many sharing their support and sadness of his and Angela's exit on social media.

"Carlos spinning through his tears has ended me," one person wrote on X, while a second added: "Angela and Carlos, what a lovely partnership. Carlos crying while dancing has broken me."

"Thats my favourite out. The wrong 2 in the dance off. Gutted Angela and Carlos have gone. This is the saddest exit yet," another said. A fourth viewer wrote: "When carlos cries i cry, bless him, he and angela were my winners."

Speaking after their elimination, Angela shared: "It's been honestly incredible, I'm gutted, really gutted that it's finished now, but it has been the most wonderful experience. "I have made the best friend in this man (Carlos).

"We have had so much fun, he is such an incredible guy. He has supported me and picked me up and made me laugh so much. I don't know what to say, it's been magical honestly all of those people up there. My husband at home, my two little girls and all my friends."

Carlos expressed his pride, saying Angela has worked "so hard" before adding: "Look at her now I am so proud, her sense of humour and we had so much fun everyday she cracks me up laughing."

The Strictly Come Dancing quarter-final will take place on Saturday, 2 December with the remaining five celebrities – Bobby Brazier, Ellie Leach, Layton Williams, Nigel Harman and Annabel Croft – battling it out to make it to the semi-final.
