Bobby Brazier on his first week of Strictly

Ahead of Strictly Come Dancing’s first live show this weekend, contestant Bobby Brazier shared his thoughts on how he thinks it’ll go.

Last Saturday, fans of the BBC dance show saw the 15 celebrities competing matched into their professional partners for the duration of the series.

One of which included EastEnders’ actor Bobby who was matched with flame-haired Australian dancer Dianne Buswell.

On Wednesday’s instalment of This Morning, the duo spoke to hosts Dermot O’Leary and Holly Willoughby about their grand debut.

Holly asked: “This weekend, big first live show, are you allowed to tell us anything?

“Has anything been released? What can you tell us about it?”

Bobby admitted: “I think it’s either going to go really well or really badly!”

Dianne burst into laughter at Bobby’s response as she agreed with the EastEnders’ star.

Wanting to try and get some information ahead of the show, Holly asked whether or not they were dancing to a style they liked.

She continued: “People go into Latin or they go into the Ballroom, do you have a preference and are you doing the preference you like?”

However, his professional partner confessed Bobby only knows one style at the moment as that’s what they’ve decided to start the competition with.

Dianne told the hosts: “That particular style I think suits Bobby very, very, well. I think it’s the opposite of what he thought he’d be really good at.”

After hearing her response, Holly revealed she thinks they’ll be doing Ballroom this weekend for their first official dance.

Although the duo remained tight-lipped not wanting to give anything away before their debut on Saturday night.

According to the latest odds, the bookies have put Bobby as the frontrunner for the series with odds at 3/1.

Not far behind is BBC star Angela Scanlon at 4/1 and Layton Williams at 5/1

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday on BBC One from 6.15pm.
