Bobby Brazier reunites with mum Jade Goody’s husband Jack Tweed for fundraiser hosted by Mark Wright

BOBBY Brazier has reconnected with mum Jade Goody's husband Jack Tweed and is supporting a fundraiser set up in her honour.

The 18-year-old and his younger brother Freddie, 17, were close to Jack as young boys before their mum tragically died from cervical cancer in 2009.

The teens recently reconnected with Jack, who said being around them makes him feel closer to his late wife.

Earlier this year an emotional Jack set up a cancer rehabilitation charity in Jade's honour.

Yesterday Bobby shared a link to the charity's upcoming ball event in July, which will see Mark Wright host and James Argent and his band performing.

Former Towie star Arg said he was "honoured" to be involved at the event which takes place at Down Hall Hotel & Spa, in Bishop's Stortford, with tickets priced at £125.

In a heartfelt video posted online, Jack previously told followers: "I'm proud to announce I've set up my own cancer rehabilitation charity in aid of my late wife, Jady Goody.

"This is very close to my heart and cervical cancer has affected millions of people all over the world.

"On Thursday, July 21, I'll be hosting a ball in aid of Jade at Down Hall where we got married."

Jack's voice began to wobble before he bravely continued: "Mark Wright will be hosting the night and we've got the Arg band performing and to top it off we've got a set from DJ Colin Francis.

In March this year widower Jack paid a heartbreaking tribute to his late wife posting a number of photographs of them together on Instagram.

Jack, 34, shared a snap from the couples' big day, showing him putting the wedding ring on Jade's finger just days before her death.

"13 years since I last got to see this angel," he wrote over the emotional photo, adding: "Miss you every day #raiseawareness #smeartest."

He followed up with a snap of the pair smiling for the cameras on a red carpet, as Jack gushed over how his late wife was "always smiling".

A third snap saw the couple enjoying a day out together in London, sharing a romantic kiss as they walked arm in arm out shopping.

Reality star Jade tragically passed away from cervical cancer in 2009 – just days after their glamorous wedding.

It was just seven months after being diagnosed with the deadly cancer.

Jack was 21 when he married the reality star, then 27, and took on her sons she shared with Jeff Brazier, who were just eight and seven.

Since Jade's tragic death, Jeff, 42, has brought up Bobby and Freddie with the help of family and his wife Kate Dwyer.

Last year, Jack opened up about how he still "struggles to live without Jade" after finding himself in a deep depression following her death.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, he said: “I didn't know how to deal with it when I was young. I didn't know what else to do.

“All I could think about was how depressed I was and I would just sit there and just constantly think about Jade. So I’d just have a drink every day, it would go from there.

“Then I’d get pictured having a drink and people would think I don't care about anything."

While his family did their best to support him by encouraging him to seek counselling, Jack admits he ignored their advice and lost control.

“I’d just sit at home, think about Jade, start crying and then think the only thing to do was go out and drink vodka," he said. “I wish I didn't do that and I wish I dealt with it a different way.

“I went through a stage where I got really, really depressed. I was just blocking everything. I got to the stage where I was just so, so depressed and down and I just didn't know what to do with my life and I went to see my mum.

“I sat down with my mum for about four hours, just crying, thinking I just didn't want to be here anymore. I just wanted everything to end.

Thankfully, daily talks with his mum and anti-depressant medication helped his outlook improve, helping Jack cure his depression.
