Christine Lampard reveals she was mum-shamed by a stranger during outing with baby daughter Patricia

Christine Lampard was at a cafe with her baby daughter Patricia when a man she did not know mum-shamed her.

Speaking on Loose Women on Thursday, Christine revealed that a man had approached her and told her how to parent baby Patricia.

She told her co-panellists: “Before I was leaving, he said, 'I just want to let you know, I think you should burp her a bit more.

"I wouldn't mind if she had been screaming the place down, and I had maybe genuinely done something wrong – I get that – but I didn't think I had, and she was sleeping!"

She continued: “I thought, I don't know you! The things that ran through my head that I didn't say. I just left it."

The Loose Women star, 40, and her former footballer husband Frank welcomed baby girl Patricia in September last year.

The popular host recently opened up on giving birth to baby Patricia, who is named after Frank’s late mum.

Opening up, she admitted the “tears started” while she was in the delivery room.

Christine explained: "The doctor, just before the big moment, said you're about to become a mummy and that's when the tears started.

"[Patricia's] doing very well on the sleeping front, but I still have that moment when I look at her and think, 'I can't believe you're mine'''.

Of the delivery itself, the stunning brunette said: “It wasn't too bad, it was what it was supposed to be, she thankfully was healthy and happy and you heard the little scream".

Patricia has brought an “awful lot of joy” to Christine and Frank, she added.

She said: “He's in Derby, he's at home this morning, he's very busy with all of the football stuff so there's plenty of to-ing and fro-ing.

She continued to say: “But it's all lovely and Patricia's doing very well. She's just wonderful, so she's brought an awful lot of joy to all of us so far.”
