Clara Amfo swears off Strictly curse as she says she won’t ‘sh**’ anyone on show
Clara Amfo has insisted that love is not on the cards during her appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.
The Radio One DJ is currently believed to be single but has admitted that hooking up with a fellow contestant or Strictly pro is completely off the cards.
Clara, 36, appeared on Keith Lemon's panel show Celebrity Juice and was quizzed about her appearance on the BBC dancing competition.
Over the years various celebrity contestants have found chemistry with their dancing partners, with some even going on to have children.
But that won't be the case for Clara who is partnered with Aljaz Skorjanec.
While appearing on Celebrity Juice, she exclaimed: "Listen, I'm not sh***ing anybody on that show.
"Can I categorically say now?"
Speaking about being partnered with Alijaz, she said: "Me and Aljaz have just been laughing the whole time,
"He's been very strict but he's allowed a good allocation of laughs."
During an appearance on Lorraine, she went on to reveal that the duo will perform the Cha Cha to Dua Lipa's Don't Star Now during Saturday night's live show.
While she may not be looking for romance, the star has admitted that her mum has offered a few stern words of advice.
During a chat with Daily Star Online, she told us: "My sweet mum has already shared some opinions on how I should present myself when it comes to the outfits.
"She's like 'You know you don't have to wear anything too short,' and I'm like 'Mum, there will be some dances that require me not to wear many clothes,'
"She's like 'Just make sure it's sensible, okay'."
The radio personality went on to joke that the reason she signed up to take part was to simply "be near Dave Arch and his band".
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturday at 7.25pm on BBC One.
