Coronation Street fans set to be fuming as show is cancelled for a whole week
Coronation Street fans will have to live without their beloved soap for an entire week this month.
Viewers are set to be devastated as they will have to wait a full week between episodes.
The schedule was already set to be shaken up due to Euro 2020.
Corrie's regular slot on Friday, October 11 was to be taken by England’s game with Czech Republic instead.
However, in another turn of events, the ITV soap will be off air on the following Monday too due to England playing Bulgaria.

This means the heartbreaking reality that between Wednesday, October 9 and Wednesday, October 16, there will be no beloved Coronation Street whatsoever.
Emmerdale will also be struck from the schedule on the two football days too, fans will be less disappointed.
The soap set in the Yorkshire Dales have their regularly scheduled hour-long episode on the Thursday beforehand, as well as an additional hour episode the following Tuesday.

Despite Emmerdale viewers getting their fix, it doesn’t look like Corrie watchers will get any extra episodes to replace the cancelled ones.
The show reshuffling isn’t just happening to ITV soaps either.
Daytime programmes have suffered blows too as This Morning and Loose Women have had cancellations recently due to the Rugby World Cup matches in Japan.
ITV fans were furious, to say the least after their daytime shows were given the boot on various occasions.

One fumed: “Absolutely beside myself that Loose Women and This Morning are cancelled again today.
Not Fair – why do ITV do it to us, we don’t care about sports! Bring back Holly and Phil, raging.”
While another moaned: “Damn… no, This Morning today cos of the Rugby opening ceremony…”
“F***ing rugby. Where is This Morning ffs?” typed a third angry Corrie fan.
Coronation Street returns to ITV tomorrow at 7:30pm.
