Daisy Lowe breaks down in tears as she talks Strictly Come Dancing exit
EMOTIONAL Daisy Lowe wiped away the tears as she cuddled up with Strictly Come Dancing partner Aljaz Skorjanec and discussed their exit from the show.
The pair lost out in last night's dance off against Olympian Greg Rutherford and Natalie Lowe, after scoring 31 points the night before.
Joining Zoe Ball on tonight's spin off show It Takes Two, the model broke down after the pair were played a clip of their time on the show.
As they watched the scenes of them on the dancefloor Aljaz could be seen cuddling Daisy, who looked stunning in a green gown.
She was then seen dabbing her eyes with a tissue as the clip ended.
Talking of being booted off the show following their salsa, Daisy said: "I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed.
"But I'm excited to watch my beautiful friends smash it in Blackpool.
"I woke up quite sad."
Daisy hailed Aljaz her "hero" during yesterday's eviction.
And this evening, he gushed about his celebrity partner and said: "It was a beautiful I don't know how many weeks."
After their PDA fans quickly took to Twitter to praise the pair and wallow in the sorrows of their exit.
One wrote: "Me and Cal crying at Daisy and Aljaz on It Takes Two is too much!" while another posted: "Welling up watching @daisylowe & @aljazskorjanec on #ItTakesTwo. Much missed already."
One viewer added: "What a gracious lovely lady @daisylowe is.
"Such a shame we won't get to see her dance in Blackpool."
Another branded the pair: "One of my fave couples this series" while one emotional viewer posted: "Balling my eyes out watching @daisylowe best bits she was a lovely dancer please don't stop dancing."
One rued their exit and posted: "SO emotional watching your journey, you guys were amazing, keep dancing Daisy you're a natural."
Meanwhile one super fan simply summed up: "Could Daisy and Aljaz be any cuter!"
Yesterday, the pair saw themselves in the Dance Off for the third time against Olympian Greg Rutherford and partner Natalie Lowe.
The couples were neck-and-neck on the judges’ leaderboard after scoring 31, which saw them joint second last.
Ed Balls and Katya Jones sat at the bottom after performing an entertaining salsa routine to Psy’s Gangnam Style on Saturday night. They were sent sailing through to Blackpool by the public.
Greg and Natalie performed their Paso Doble again to Tamacun by Rodrigo y Gabriela while Daisy and Aljaz danced their Salsa to ‘Groove Is In The Heart’ by Deee-Lite.
