'Dancing with the Stars': Theme Nights for the Rest of Season 30
Believe it or not, Dancing with the Stars Season 30 is already halfway over. At this point, only 10 celebrities and their professional dance partners remain in the competition. Find out who still has a chance at winning the Mirrorball Trophy, plus the theme nights fans can expect to see in the remainder of season 30.
‘DWTS’ Season 30 contestants eliminated so far
As Carrie Ann Inaba pointed out during Dancing with the Stars‘ Grease Night, the competition is fierce this season. Each week, the elimination sends another surprising candidate for the Mirrorball Trophy home.
First, Cobra Kai‘s Martin Kove and his partner Britt Stewart were eliminated. The following week, Bling Empire star Christine Chiu and her pro dance partner Pasha Pashkov got sent home.
Later, after the Disney Heroes Night and Disney Villains Night performances, two contestants were eliminated from the season 30 competition: Beverly Hills 90210 star Brian Austin Green, who danced with Sharna Burgess, and Bachelor Nation’s Matt James, who danced with Lindsay Arnold. Most recently, Spice Girl Melanie C. and her partner Gleb Savchenko were eliminated during Grease Night.
“My plan was to hopefully be here a little longer, so it feels really weird,” the Spice Girl said in a video on Twitter after her elimination. “I truly believe everything happens for a reason.”
‘Dancing with the Stars’ theme night schedule for the rest of season 30
As the show has done in previous years, Dancing with the Stars always features a Disney night. This year, the show hosted Disney Week, with two Disney-inspired nights of performances. There has also been a night of dance dedicated to Britney Spears’ music.
