Disney star Devan Leos pleads no contest to attempted murder after row with homeless man but he WON’T go to prison – The Sun

DISNEY star Devan Leos has avoided a prison sentence for attempted murder after allegedly running over a homeless man.

The 21-year-old actor will not spend any time behind bars after striking a plea deal with prosecutors.

After pleading no contest to attempted murder, Leos was sentenced to five years probation, 120 hours of volunteer work at a homeless shelter and 30 days working at the California Department of Transportation.

According to TMZ.com, another charge of assault with a deadly weapon was dropped.

Leos was accused of mowing down the homeless person with his car following a row outside a convenience store in Los Angeles.

 

Following the argument, the Mighty Med star is said to have got into his car with a friend but the unnamed individual kicked the vehicle as Leos droev away.

The former child star reportedly decided to accelerate towards them, before mounting the curb and knocking the homeless person over.

As well as his role in Disney series Mighty Med, Leos has also appeared in shows such as Austin & Ally, iCarly and The Middle.

His film roles include parts in Grave Secrets and The Pretty One.
