EastEnders’ Gray to ‘murder’ Jags over secret relationship past with Chantelle

EastEnders ' Gray Atkins (Toby Alexander Smith) is not one for holding back when things don't go his way and things are about to get tricky for the scheming solicitor.

The EastEnders cast member often lashes out when he seems to be losing control over wife Chantelle (Jessica Plummer).

If he feels that his hold over wife is waning, the violent husband snaps with frenzied attacks.

Fans have already voice their fears that that the BBC One soap could reflect the harrowing figures of domestic abuse deaths by showing Gray going as far as killing Chantelle.

Since discovering that his wife is pregnant in recent weeks, Gray has promised to seek help and work on his temper.

But Chantelle's discovery that she has lost her baby could push the solicitor back over the edge into his world of violence.

Following the arrival of Jags Panesar (Amar Adatia) earlier this week, it became clear that he recognised Chantelle.

The newcomer confirmed that he used to date Karen Taylor's eldest child in school.

As they exchanged a look, Gray clocked this and is bound to be unsettled that Jags could be the one to open Chantelle's eye that she deserves better.

With Gray having been questioned by police over a mysterious fight in a nightclub, it's clear that his temper doesn't just explode behind closed doors so will Jag's arrival spark a showdown between the two men?

If so, could the potential for Chantelle to confined in Jags lead to Gray dealing with Jags in catastrophic fashion?

Viewers will have to see if Chantelle can escape her abusive husband.
