EastEnders' Samantha Womack devastated as her ‘soulmate’ dies as she battles breast cancer | The Sun
EASTENDERS actress Samantha Womack has revealed she has been left "devastated" following the death of her soulmate.
The Ronnie Mitchell star, 49, took to her Instagram page to reveal she "cannot cope" with her loss, this being her pet dog Lola.
The EastEnders favourite uploaded a touching selection of snaps showing her with the fawn-coloured pet, showing the pooch posing for a sweet black and white snap before looking joyful in front of a historical monument.
Another candid image saw Samantha stroking its head as they perched together in a garden.
Further insights revealed the pair on holiday in a camper van as well as soaking up the sunshine on a host of beaches.
In her heart-wrenching caption, Samantha wrote: "My heart is broken.

Her celeb pals were quick to offer messages of support, with Denise Van Outen posting: "I’m so sorry to hear this. Thinking of you ❤️❤️❤️❤️"
Samantha's former co-star Rita Simons wrote: "Love you ❤️."
The actress' emotional words were particularly poignant following her recent breast cancer diagnosis.

She announced her diagnosis while paying tribute to the late Olivia Newton-John, and has since undergone surgery.
Sharing a picture of herself with the actress, who passed away at the age of 73, Samantha wrote: “This was the most magical of evenings.
“Olivia and Chloe had come to see Grease in London and we had dinner together afterwards. I was so excited and in awe, she was my childhood.”
Sam added: “I now start my own battle with this disease and am left feeling deeply moved. #OliviaNewtonJohn.”
Her followers sent her well wishes, with This Morning’s soap expert Sharon Marshall writing: “Wishing you love and strength ❤.”
Another fan wrote: “Wishing you all the best with your treatment and recovery.”
While someone else added: “So sorry to hear this. Wishing you love and strength throughout your journey ??? xxx”

Samantha made her EastEnders debut on on July 24, 2007, slipping into the skin of Ronnie Mitchell, a cousin of Walford tough man Phil, Grant and Sam.
