EastEnders viewers spot worrying signs wife beater Gray will abuse his kids

EastEnders viewers have spotted worrying signs that wife beater Gray Atkins will abuse his own kids.

Nasty Gray has been seen attacking his wife Chantelle, but now there are growing concerns he will take his anger out on their children.

In Tuesday night's episode, Gray started to feel the pressure of taking on Whitney Dean's murder case.

After voicing his anger at having to be 'Albert Square's legal representative, Gray snapped at Mackenzie and Mia in a worrying turn of events.

"Pack it in the pair of you," shouted Gray, leaving fearful Chantelle feeling scared for their safety.

Gray apologised to the kids for shouting and gave them money to buy chocolate with.

Turning to anxious Chantelle, he added: "You have no idea what kind of day I’m going to have."

Things are only set to get worse for Gray's family as the pressure of Whitney's case increases his anger.

EastEnders viewers took to Twitter after watching the worrying scene with their fears for the kids.

One viewer tweeted: "Gray will be turning his abusive behaviour on his children soon enough. You wait for it."

"I really hate that Chantelle lives in fear with husband Gray. Just because he has a stressful job, it doesn't mean that Gray can snap at their children and hit his wife. He's never gonna change," added another.

A third said: "Chantelle worried about Gray lashing out on the kids trying to protect them."

"I'm so over Gray's attitude towards Chantelle and his family," said a fourth.

Gray grew suspicious of his own client tonight when he discovered that Whitney went to the boat party in a taxi with Kat, Kush and Mick.

He lashed out at Mick after discovering that he saw the dead body – but the Queen Vic landlord pleaded that his family would be destroyed if he went back to prison.

When Mick asked if there was a "clever legal thing" they could come up with, Gray came up with an "illegal" plan.

Mick spoke to the detectives and apologised for not coming sooner and was convinced he had helped Whitney's case.

Gray argued that Whitney was in no fit mental state to be responsible for her actions immediately after Leo's death.

However, DCI Morgan claimed there was a pattern of her friends and family, including Kush, Bianca, Callum and Mick, leaping to her defence.

She pointed out that Whitney made no attempt to save Leo's life and left him for dead before going to the boat party.

DCI Morgan said: "Whitney Dean, you murdered Leo King and I believe we have enough to charge you with his murder."

Is Whitney going to be sent down for murder?
