ED Sheeran's pub has revealed it will be reopening this week to serve takeaway sausage rolls and tea after being shut for weeks during lockdown.

Bertie Blossoms, which is based on Portobello Road in London, will open it's doors once again on Thursday 4 June, as the UK economy attempts to get back to some normality.

Taking to Instagram, the venue revealed the positive news alongside a photo of a member of staff using a coffee machine.

The image was captioned: "Berties to go available from Thursday 4th! Coffee, Sausage rolls, pastries and cakes all made by our @lyshcooks Hurrah! ??."

They also shared a similar post on their Instagram story, but this time posted a picture of some delicious-looking sausage rolls made by culinary arts student Alysha Kinsella.

The happy news comes after The Sun Online revealed that Ed, 29, has been brewing his own beer and plans to serve it in his own private boozer at his house in Suffolk.

The Shape Of You singer has taken delivery of make-your-own craft beer kits, ready to be served at his own pub in the grounds of his £1.5million home.

A source told The Sun: “Ed loves his beer — especially his real ales and craft beers.

"He’s had a few kits delivered and has been having fun making his own drinks.

“They aren’t too bad but he doesn’t think any of the major breweries have got anything to worry about just yet.”

Ed, 29, converted an old barn into a private pub on his Suffolk estate in 2017 and named it The Lancaster Lock, after 28-year-old wife Cherry Lancaster Seaborn’s middle name.

The pub has a full bar, a pizza oven and a barbecue area, and is connected to the main house by a “secret underground tunnel”.

Last year, Ed won a planning battle to hang a 16ft high pub sign outside the barn.

The pop star also owns a home in London's Notting Hill, not far from his £1.5million pub and restaurant.
