ELLIE Goulding looks almost unrecognisable after her dramatic hair transformation.

The singer, 35, revealed her new look earlier this week on social media.

Ellie, who has donned blonde locks for quite some time, decided to go for something a little different at her recent salon appointment.

The Love Me Like You Do songstress showed off her new brunette hair in a selection of stunning pictures on Instagram.

The star completed the look with a face full of glam make-up and an elegant black dress.

She told her 14m followers: "Brunette barnet reveal pt. II."

Fans rushed to the comments section to share their love of her new look.

One said: "Brunette looks fab ????."

Another wrote: "Cannot handle the hotness."

"Absolutely stunning!," a third chimed in.

Ellie and her husband husband Caspar Jopling became parents for the first time in April 2021 when she gave birth to their son Arthur.

In November last year she shared a sweet picture of her son and explained why she won’t show his face on social media.

She explained: "I was particularly nervous to post a picture of my son, even just the back of his head, because I have chosen not to expose him to the world on social media.

"I feel quite strongly about this (I believe it is his decision when he is older!) I have had people try to take photos of him now and then (really!) and I have politely asked if they could not."

Ellie added: "I am extremely protective over him as any mother would be.

"My amazing fans (I love you) and even the press have respected this. Thank you v much."

Back in October the star revealed that her 15-month old baby son already has a very special talent.

Asked whether he has shown any signs he is musically gifted by The Sun, Ellie said: “Yes, which I’m very proud of. He can do scales, he’s only 15 months but he’s very singy.

"He is very musical and loves classical music. He’s got some musical genes, I’m very happy about that.”
