Ellie Leach reveals new look and stuns Coronation Street fans

Coronation Street star Ellie Leach has unveiled a brand new hairstyle.

The actress, who portrays Faye Windass in the ITV soap, shared a snap of her new do on social media, captioning the post with: ‘golden hour’.

Fans were quick to comment, with one writing: ‘love the hair’, while another wrote the same message with a series of fire emojis added.

‘Gorg’ exclaimed one social media user.

Ellie has been at the centre of a major Coronation Street storyline this year, after Faye and flatmate Emma Brooker knocked down pensioner Ted on New Year’s Day.

Ted subsequently died as a result of his injuries, and Craig Tinker helped the duo cover up their role in his demise.

Emma, however, has since embarked on a relationship with Jon (Jordan Ford Silver), Ted’s grandson, which has left their secret at a risk of being exposed.

Wednesday’s (April 6) visit to the cobbles will see the truth finally out.

Jon, knowing there is more to why Emma broke up with him than meets the eye, attempts to get to the bottom of the mystery. 

‘There is something seriously not right here!’, he exclaims.

‘I don’t believe you didn’t know that Craig was investigating my granddad’s death. You’re flatmates, he’ll have known you came to the funeral.’

Realising that Emma is heartbroken, Faye steps in, giving Jon the answers he’s looking for.

‘She had to finish with you!’ starts Faye, questioning if she’s making the right choice. 

‘Me and Emma, we’re responsible for your granddad’s death.’

Just how will Jon react?

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV.
